I found the courtyard beautiful with the real wooden beams. Customer service was excellent. I felt safe. The room was clean and spacious, I am glad that I picked this place. My room had breakfast options with many choices. The bar had a good range of drinks and the staff seemed lovely to me. The price felt really great for what I get. The building felt ancient, a unique experience, it is great. The location is superb! I found people helpful and polite. The pub downstairs is great for pints. Mixed Feelings About This Place

slippery stepsnoisy ventilation
The stairs seemed like a liability waiting to happen when wet. My room faced some sort of kitchen ventilation system. It rattled from early in the morning until late into the night. The bed clearly had opinions. Every movement resulted in a symphony of creaks.
